The play sensitively captures the escalating unrest in the background and its reflection upon the dynamics in the central household. Minorities are more or less portrayed as the victim at the centre while the majority is divided into three groups, defenders, attackers, and the silent. The main character revolts against his traditional profession of a thug and becomes a full-on dacoit. His greed increases eventually. The story takes a humorous look at a small community of a village. Both the stories, with the elements of tragedy and comedy, are presented with melodious music of Rajasthan and Bihar.
